Twitch Bodyworks is operated by Gillian Halyk, a graduate of PIMT’s 2200 hour Advanced Massage Therapy program in Saskatoon.

As of Dec. 1 2021 Twitch Bodyworks has moved to 412 Main St. in Foam Lake Saskatchewan.

Due to personal reasons Gillian was forced to temporarily close Twitch Bodyworks in Spring 2021. The Saskatoon location will not be reopening.

As of June 2017 Gillian is certified in Perinatal Massage. Perinatal Massage covers the full range of pregnancy, from the first trimester through to delivery, and beyond into postnatal care.

In May 2014 Gillian graduated from Equanimity Edge’s Advanced Equine Massage and Vertebral Realignment course as a Certified Advanced Equine Massage and Vertebral Realignment Therapist. This first course sparked a further interest in massage and manual therapies and as a result Gillian joined PIMT’s Full-time Accelerated Program in January 2015.

Services

Therapeutic Massage Services

45 minutes: $50

60 minutes: $75

90 minutes: $100

Please arrive ten to fifteen minuets early for your first appointment for paperwork and additional assessment.

Equine Massage 

Available by appointment, Gillian will travel to your facility or farm.

Be aware:

  • If driving distance is beyond 30 minutes mileage will be charged.
  • If the situation is unsafe the appointment will be cancelled with a partial refund.
  • Good footing/ level ground is ideal as Gillian will be working on a stool for most horses.
  • A quiet or familiar location where the horse if relaxed and comfortable is ideal both for safety and the most beneficial outcome.
  • During assessment tack may be examined to determine if saddle fit may be a source of discomfort or pain.
  • Please let Gillian know if any anti-inflammatory or pain medication has been given that day. They will affect the treatment plan.

Initial Visit: 2 hours

  • Physical Assessment and Massage Treatment

Following Visits: ~1.5 hrs.

Canine Massage

Available by appointment, Gillian will travel to your location or agreed upon alternative.

Be aware:

  • If driving distance is beyond 30 minutes mileage will be charged.
  • If the situation is unsafe the appointment will be cancelled with a partial refund.
  • A quiet or familiar location where your dog if relaxed and comfortable is ideal both for safety and the most beneficial outcome.
  • Please let Gillian know if any anti-inflammatory or pain medication has been given that day. They will affect the treatment plan.

Access – During massage appointments the door to Twitch Bodyworks will be locked. Please plan accordingly if you are early for you appointment time.

Parking – There is free customer parking on street.

Accessability – At this time Twitch Bodyworks is not wheel-chair accessible. Plans are underway to change that in spring/summer 2022. There are 3 concrete steps to access the building. Assistance to enter the building can be arranged by calling ahead of time.
